Business Travel Requirements for an United Kingdom Visa for Swiss Citizens

    Eligibility and Process

    The UK ETA is applied via an App on your mobile device, introduced by the Government of United Kingdom. Please download the UK ETA App via the Apple App store or Google Play.  

    If you cannot use the app, you can apply online via the Government of UK website.

Tourist Travel Requirements for an United Kingdom Visa for Swiss Citizens

  1. Starting April 2, 2025, an Electronic Travel Authorization is Required

    For travelers entering the United Kingdom before April 2, 2025, an ETA is not needed. Beginning April 2, 2025, travelers of your nationality will require an ETA to enter the United Kingdom.

    For stays up to six months, an ETA will not be necessary before April 2, 2025. However, please note that you must:
    • Hold a passport valid for the entire duration of stay with one blank visa page
    • Hold proof of sufficient funds
    • Hold proof of onward/return flights
    • Hold documents showing proof of purpose of trip
    • Hold all documents required for the next destination
